MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Conducts a variety of projects and programs requiring analysis, evaluation and communication of information and development of proposed policy, procedures and methodology to meet current and future requirements. Develops, coordinates, obtains approval of and executes comprehensive plans necessary to support projects/programs, after receiving supervisor’s concurrence. Pursues concepts and ideas with the appropriate finance functions to focus on scope, cause, and effect of identified problem areas, and recommends potential solutions. Evaluates proposals from other DFAS staff elements to determine requirements and objectives adequacy of specifications and analytical data provided realistic cost estimates. Identifies deficiencies and makes recommendations to correct problems, achieve efficiencies, increase effectiveness, and enhance productivity.
