WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Contract Specialist (Non-Supervisory) (Lead), you will be responsible for executing complex, high-volume acquisitions and advising customers to deliver mission-focused, enterprise outcomes use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Planning, leading, and executing complex pre-award and post-award acquisitions in support of HHS enterprise requirements. Executing acquisitions using a wide range of contracting methods and contract types, including procedures under FAR Parts 8, 12, 15, and 16. Developing and implementing acquisition strategies aligned with OMAS mission, HHS enterprise objectives, and initiatives such as Procurement Alignment and Collaboration Taskforce (PACT). Managing a high-volume workload of concurrent procurement actions, prioritizing based on mission urgency, risk, and organizational priorities.
