About the role
As a Social Science Analyst (Evaluation Officer), you will: Manage agency-wide evaluation methodology, standards, and requirements to ensure the scientific integrity of the agency's evaluation activities. Coordinate and increase technical expertise available for evaluation and related activities within the agency and improve the quality of evaluations and knowledge of evaluation methodology and standards. Serve as the champion for, and educator of, all agency employees, leaders and staff on evaluation, including what evaluation is, the value of conducting evaluations, how to distinguish high-quality evaluation from other types of analyses, and the importance of evaluation as a strategic investment. Provide agency-wide guidance and technical assistance to ensure evaluation findings are communicated to stakeholders in ways appropriate to their needs and interests, and that evaluation results are disseminated throughout the agency and to the public, as appropriate.
