About the role
You will apply knowledge of the makeup, modification, and operation of moderately complex hydromechanical/pneumatic fuel control subassemblies. You will diagnose, overhaul, repair, and test various components requiring knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical and mechanical principals. You will make qualitative evaluations of the internal components of some subassemblies, analyzing the causes of failures, and making the necessary repairs and adjustments to render the components, usable within required specifications. You will use hand tools, jigs, fixtures, special tools, test equipment, measuring devices, and cleaning equipment. You will select and effectively utilize the proper tooling, including measuring devices such as torque wrenches, feeler gauges, depth gauges, etc. You will read and interpret technical data, parts supply manuals, and schematic diagrams. You will remove and replace components requiring precise measurements to tolerances of less than one thousandt
