About the role
You will install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment and related devices or components. You will complete simpler installation, maintenance, testing and repair projects by independently following oral instructions, schematics, blueprints, and work orders. You will make visual, audible and mechanical checks for proper temperature of spaces, unusual noises, loose connections, gaskets and similar defects. You will inspect individual parts, assemblies, or installations, using test and measuring instruments of the trade. You will start up equipment, and makes adjustments as required to ensure proper operation of systems in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions or specific instructions provided by the supervisor or a senior mechanic.
