About the role
The primary purpose is to serve as the Senior Air Reserve Technician (ART) Officer with overall supervision and management of either an Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, a Maintenance Squadron, an Equipment Maintenance Squadron or a Component Maintenance Squadron at an Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) unit-equipped or associate unit. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the squadron. Manages assigned maintenance resources and ensures production meets operational requirements and technical standards. 2. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities to include personnel and position management, equal opportunity, security, and safety. 3. Represents organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
