GENERAL MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

- Performs work planning responsibilities. Plans and establishes long-range work requirements and schedules (typically 6 months or longer). Provides direct input or participates with engineering, production control, and other personnel during initial planning and developing of work requirements, and furnishes technical advice on the suitability of existing equipment, available manpower, and appropriate work methods for short and long term projects. - Performs work direction responsibilities. Assigns and explains work requirements and operating instructions to subordinate supervisors. Sets deadlines and establishes the sequence of work operations to be followed. - Performs administration responsibilities. Participates with subordinate supervisors/employees in the development of performance plans. Advises them in advance of performance expectations.
