General Engineer, AST, Technical Management

Provides technical management functions responsible for the operations of Information Technology (IT) project planning, policy, formulation and implementation for the International Space Station (ISS) Program. Interprets policies, apply engineering processes, evaluate solution options, and make implementation decisions to ensure ISS program requirements are met. Leads a variety of technical managerial functions ensuring the development and processes for ISS Program initiatives and policy with stakeholders. Leads development of policy and process responses to Program actions, budget issues, and other technical short/long term challenges. Provides input and review of contract IT metrics, ensuring the data is incorporated into program management review meetings, quarterly presentations, and other required reports. Manages all phases of IT projects, including requirements documentation, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and sustaining engineering. Approves scheduled releases and
