SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCY/PLN)

You will supervise a team of senior technical specialists. You will plan, direct and evaluate the work of the branch, which provides IT security operational and policy support to the command, its subordinate units, and mission partners. You will manage the recruitment and selection process by interviewing and selecting candidates for positions, promotions and reassignments. You will identify and provide for the developmental and training needs of the branch to ensure the workforce is prepared to meet current and future mission requirements. You will direct the development, interpretation, and implementation of strategic and operational IT security policies for the command's area of responsibility. You will Ensure that all command-level IT security programs align with national-level policies from relevant national security agencies and governing bodies. You will direct the resolution of highly complex and unprecedented IT security issues that have a direct impact on mission capabilities
