About the role
You will recommend assignments of personnel to ensure skills training is optimized using current ships’ availability and schedule. You will urge and advise employees to follow instructions received from supervisors and to meet deadlines. You will be responsible for providing enough work to keep everyone in the crew busy. You will work with trainees by demonstrating their knowledge of the skill via on-the-job training. You will be responsible for obtaining needed information or decisions from supervisors on problems that may arise during the course of work being performed.
