About the role

The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) Officer to serve as the Senior ART/Mission Support Group Commander at a tenant location, responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and controlling the activities and operations of the Mission Support Group. Plan, direct, organize, and manage the Mission Support Group program including such areas as logistics planning and readiness, security forces, civil engineering, communications, services, and personnel. Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represent the wing with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Accomplish special staff studies and projects resulting from reorganizations, regulatory changes, new technology, mission changes, etc.
