Supervisory Mechanical Engineer

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an experienced Supervisory Mechanical Engineer providing mechanical engineering mentorship and expertise for a variety of complex projects and activities. The major duties of the position include: As Engineering Mechanical Group Supervisor, participates fully with the Engineering Office Chief in planning, directing, monitoring, and evaluating the overall projects and programs assigned to the Office. Provides administrative approval for all mechanical and some general engineering drawings and designs by the Office. Responsible for preparation of mechanical, hydraulic, structural designs, drawings, and SCADA drawings, and specifications responsible to the Facilities Office, and the coordination and administering of preparation of designs and specifications assigned outside of the office.
