Civil Engineer

Duties of this postion include: Assist in a variety of operations at Colorado River Storage Project (CRSP) facilities and Western Colorodo Area Office projects to meet obligations, environmental requirements, and regulatory requirements. Use computer models to simulate, analyze, plan reservoir operations, and inform decisions. Participate on and/or lead technical work groups or teams for hydrologic investigations. Develop, modify, and utilize databases to maintain hydrologic or engineering data for conducting operational and planning analyses. Interpret, analyze, and evaluate hydrologic and engineering data on a regular basis. Work on complex or controversial water issues whose solutions require a proven understanding of hydrology, engineering, water resource and reservoir management, and other applicable disciplines.
