Police Officer (Training Officer)

The following are the duties of this position at the TR-10. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties and will receive training to help you grow in this position. Apply authoritative technical knowledge of a variety of specialty areas of law enforcement such as officer safety and survival; communications and interviewing, criminal law; field tactics, detention and arrest; dynamics of terrorism; physical security; firearms; and control tactics training. Coordinate law enforcement training with the National Training Coordinator. Prepare and submit monthly status reports to the National Training Coordinator detailing training and qualification status of law enforcement individuals located at the field site. Utilize a variety of presentation methods including but not limited to lecture, instructor questions and student answers, instructor demonstration followed by student participation, instructor-directed class discussio
