Supervisory Recreation Specialist (Rental Manager)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The purpose of this position is to manage the daily operations of the Outdoor Recreation Equipment Rental program. Manages all aspects of the Outdoor Recreation rental, reservation, and resale program, including equipment, ski and bike shops, and indoor climbing wall. Oversees the daily operations, ensures efficiency of service, and effectively trains and directs Recreation Aids, Recreation Assistants, and Maintenance Mechanics assigned to the rental program. Manages equipment inventories, including purchase, maintenance, repair, and disposal to ensure sufficient supply availability to meet program and customer demand. Routinely coordinates with ODR management to ensure rental program is aligned with overall program goals and makes adjustments as objectives evolve.
