About the role
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Perform a variety of simple and routine trade duties that assist journey-level Preservationists in building, maintaining, restoring, and/or preserving historic structures and landscapes Perform work under the direct supervision and oversight of a journey level position. Adhere to the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. Basic knowledge of historic preservation trades in order to perform preservation work under direct supervision and oversight. The primary intent and purpose of the position is the preservation of historic structures and landscapes. Physical Demands: Duties require the incumbent to sit, stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, work in uncomfortable positions, and walk over rough, uneven terrain.
