About the role
The Superintendent manages the Park's infrastructure, employees, budget, natural and cultural resources, and visitor services. Responsibilities also include: Monitors and evaluates park operations for efficiency and effectiveness and sets long- and short-term goals and standards. Represents the National Park Service on larger efforts impacting the National Park Service's interests in the greater New York harbor and metropolitan area.
