DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Leads and supervises a team of technical writers and editors producing policy documents, scientific and technical articles, regulations, manuals, clinical guidelines, brochures, pamphlets, and award submissions. Plans, assigns, and prioritizes work and provides coaching and performance feedback. Serves as the senior technical editor for complex and high visibility products, ensuring clarity, accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with agency policy, style standards, and audience needs. Works with internal and external authors and program staff throughout planning, drafting, and revision. Verifies information with subject matter experts and edits and restructures materials for organization, tone, readability, and plain language, coordinating with design and graphics staff as needed.
