About the role

- Performs journeyman level auto body work, repairing and rebuilding damaged vehicles and equipment such as mainframes, sub-frames and body structural components such as door posts, door frames, skeletal framework, main support components and sheet metal. - Removes and replaces major assemblies and sub-assemblies, performs electrical routing and repairs of damaged wiring, and components. - Performs various repairs such as cutting/grinding operations and replaces vehicle glass components to include windshields, door, and rear window glass, repair or replace radiators, patches or recovers upholstered areas of vehicles and covers. - Orders parts complete documentation and provides training and assistance to other personnel. Researches and orders parts using appropriate Technical Orders, repair manuals, and manufacturer's repair/parts manuals. - Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
