About the role

You will disassemble diesel or gasoline engines as necessary and inspects repairs or replaces such parts as injection valves, cylinder heads, cylinder sleeves, pistons, rings, connecting rods, bearings, gaskets, and crankshafts. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, remove, adjust, modify, repair or replace defective components in such sub-systems as ignition, emission, electronic and computer-controlled systems, injection systems, or overhauling various operating mechanisms. You will repair, overhaul, rebuild attachments and other utility systems on such equipment as bulldozers, road graders, rollers, stationary generators, Light Amphibious Recovery Craft, 7 and 11-Meter Rigid Inflatable Boats, and Patrol Boats. You will repair clutches, transmission systems, differentials, final drives, generators, governors, reduction gears, hydraulic systems, hydraulic and pneumatic braking systems, marine water jet propulsion steering systems and marine outdrive systems.
