PURCHASING AGENT

You will determine the appropriate procedures and methods to use to place an order, provide the best prices and ensure conformance to acquisition regulations. You will scan purchase request for completeness and adequacy and determine how purchases should be made. You will utilize unilateral instruments to establish contracts, purchase orders, calls against Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA)and credit purchases. You will meet with vendors on the government's behalf to receive demonstrations, review and discuss vendor products. You will review justifications for sole source and other required clearances.
