About the role
The duties may include, but are not limited to: Analyzes Strategy and Policy policy and proposes and implements strategies for presenting and defending the Strategy and Policy budget, and recommends corrective courses of action, which affect long-range program performance. Composes cooperative agreement guidance documents for APHIS, VS, and Cooperators, and uses quantitative and qualitative analysis to determine how cooperators utilize their funding. Reviews such fiscal and fiscally related documents as grants, cooperative agreements, memorandums of understanding, and inter-agency agreements to determine adequacy. Coordinates with program officials, VS Planning, Finance, and more, to assure the use of APHIS funds is proper and in accordance with existing laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
