About the role
The duties may include, but are not limited to: Lead program operations by planning, assigning, and monitoring work to achieve key performance outcomes. Oversee development, implementation, and evaluation of national biotechnology or laboratory inspection procedures, documentation, and training. Direct compliance, inspection, and technical assurance activities, including data analysis and identification of regulatory noncompliance. Coordinate with internal and external partners to resolve complex scientific, regulatory, or enforcement issues. Supervise scientific and technical staff, managing performance, recruitment, training, and employee development. Represent the program to industry, laboratories, state officials, and federal stakeholders to support regulatory compliance and program effectiveness. Ensure program alignment with agency policies, resource requirements, and mission objectives through continuous review and improvement.
