Supervisory Investigative Protection Officer

The selectee will serve as a Supervisory Investigative Protection Officer in the Office of Protective Operations, Joseph Biden Protective Division or Presidential Protective Division. Typical work assignments include: Managing staff who perform protective, investigative, technical, and administrative tasks; making sure work is timely and meets quality standards; and reviewing employee performance. Managing logistics and strategic planning for protective services and transportation for internal and external law enforcement counterparts; ensuring security procedures are implemented at official events and that restricted areas are monitored and accessible only to authorized personnel. Conducting complex and sensitive law enforcement investigations; providing oversight and guidance on procedures and regulations; and ensuring compliance with protective and investigative standards.
