AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL SPECIALIST (TERMINAL)

You will operate air traffic control (ATC) communications equipment to facilitate communications with aircraft, adjacent air traffic control facilities, or intra-facility positions. You will establish an on-the-job=training (OJT) program to staff qualified controllers for an air traffic control facility. You will advise arriving and departing aircraft of favored or designated runway and general location of known air traffic in the airport area. You will maintain equipment logs (e.g., tower, radar) to record outages and actions taken to correct discrepancies.
