About the role
Serve as a consultant and expert advisor on Utility Monitoring and Control System (UMCS) for proposed and existing systems, designs, and installation activities for a wide range of agencies in a large regional area. Review plans, specifications, and drawings for electrical engineering features in electronic security system designs for civil works and military projects. Participate in negotiations with Army Engineer or Installation Services firms to arrive at fee to be paid contractor for studies, designs, specification development, and/or installation of systems. Delineate the facilities to be studied or designed, their purpose and interrelationships, and the conditions to be observed. Furnish information regarding plans, funds, progress, and provides staff assistance. Justify plans, actions, and recommendations, and furnishes and obtains information regarding planning, funding progress reports, direction and execution of project design and installation.
