Health Insurance Specialist (Data Analysis and Studies)

Design, plan, and conduct research studies concerning the trends and impact of Medicare programs. Conduct analysis of policy issues, topics, research background information, the origin of laws to make effective policy recommendations. Serve as an expert interpreting statute and developing Federal regulations, policy statements, and other guidance relating to national health insurance programs. Identify and propose modifications to policies to reflect changes or trends in the health care industry, program objectives, and the needs of beneficiaries. Develop, implement and maintain operational requirements to manage and analyze programmatic information.
