Actively participating in nationwide strategic planning for the management of the passport function Analyzing the prevailing political, social, and economic conditions that could impact changes and analyzing trends in efforts to obtain passports through fraud or deceit in order to develop Passport Services Directorate policies Participating in the development, justification, and defense of overall annual budget for the Directorate. Identifying and justifying changes needed in levels of resources and developing contingency plans should added resources not be forthcoming
