About the role
You will be responsible for horizontal coordination of interior design policy issues, program issues, and community management across all NAVFAC Components. You will provide leadership to other design team members in the areas of Structural Interior Design (SID), Comprehensive Interior Design (CID) to include Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FFE) procurement, interior programming, and space planning. You will execute design and analyses, utilizing advanced architectural/interior design software. You will Identify areas of risk associated with design and construction and develops mitigation strategies or alternatives. You will provide technical guidance to Architect/Engineer (A/E) firms regarding criteria application and unique DoD functional requirements.
