Utility Systems Repairer-Operator

Install, maintain and repair large and complex boilers and heating plants. Perform visual and operational tests to troubleshoot and diagnose boiler or heating plant cause of malfunction. Test boiler feed-water by using prescribed chemical reagents, color slides, and related equipment. Operate large central boiler plant. Dismantle, repair, and reassemble units such as pumps, impellers, centrifugal chillers, water towers, air compressors, and evaporators. Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and modify large air conditioning systems which perform a variety of functions such as cooling, cleaning, humidifying, dehumidifying, filtering, and circulating.
