About the role
You will serve as a/an Instructional System Specialist and be responsible for ???using expertise in the principles, processes, and tools of the Human Performance Technology (HPT) and Instructional Systems Design (ISD) models to offer instructional and noninstructional performance intervention recommendations which maximize the mission effectiveness of the U.S. Coast Guard workforce. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Conduct Performance Analysis to identify gaps, analyze causes, and recommend solutions. Participate in High Level Working Groups to determine training needs, evaluate proposed solutions, determine approaches including internal and contracted performance supports. Screen and Scope Client Request for Analysis Determine the analytical approach best suited to serve the clients need in solving a performance gap.
