About the role
Supports the overall mission of the Health Services Division by providing comprehensive nutrition care and treatment through an interdisciplinary team approach to patients designated as medical and mental health, under the direction of the Health Services Administrator (HSA) or Food Service Administrator (FSA). Shares the responsibilities for the administration, management, and direction of the institution's medical diet program. Interprets the medical diet program, recommends changes to the FSA, and disseminates information concerning the program. Responsible for developing, planning, directing, and coordinating dietetic services at the institutional level with focus on the local medical mission and management of chronic health care.
