About the role
The selectee will serve as an Operations Specialist (Logistics) in the Office of Protective Operations, George W. Bush Protective Division. Typical work assignments include: Leads and conducts logistical, analytical, and administrative assignments and projects in support of foreign and domestic details and provides advice and assistance to management on logistics and operations. The incumbent collaborates with internal and external stakeholders regarding protective visits and maintains liaison to ensure proper staffing for each protectee detail based on threat level. The incumbent is responsible for creating and approving trip requests in the protective assignment systems, including providing information regarding reporting instructions, personnel notifications, hotel accommodations, and scheduled hours for staff for each protective visit.
