Supervisory Property Disposal Specialist

Acts as principal advisor and assistant to the Commander or designee providing property disposal support. Directs and manages the operations at DLA Disposition Services Region and provides supervision over key personnel and contractor employees. Conducts on-site reviews/inspections of the operations at DLA Disposition Services Field Activity. Analyzes, plans, and affects best utilization and management of Disposition Services business operations and resources. Directs staff in innovative approaches to resolving problems and improving processes, and ensures processes are in compliance with applicable laws/policies/regulations and are well documented and regularly maintained. Provides policy direction, technical guidance and administrative coordination to a staff engaged in the accomplishment of Property Management, Reutilization, and Hazardous excess material management.
