Supervisory Immigration Services Assistant

The responsibilities described are for the full performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope performed with less independence, and limited complexity. Supervise the day-to-day operations of a clerical support team in immigration records, adjudication, and mail operations for a USCIS field office. Provides administrative, technical supervision of clerical support in customer service, records and mail management, FOSS contract services if applicable, and adjudication, enforcement case processing in a fi eld office. Provide facility management support to ensure the staff are adhering to safety regulations and mail distribution requirements. Support various work units to ensure those units adhere to local and agency guidelines on case file staging for active, inactive, and closed cases to ensure cycle movements of files.
