About the role
Duties included at the GS-14 but are not limited to: Serves as a focal point and key OI advisor on current, state-of-the-art techniques with respect to investigative activities and reporting systems, administrative management and HHS programs. Represents OI at workshops, meetings and conferences while addressing various groups to explain IB operations and their relationship to the Department and OIG. Participates in final policy determinations. Plans and directs in-depth reviews and evaluations of criminal investigations program activity. Develops and implements policies and procedures for the collection, analysis, and dissemination of criminal information and for meeting security and safeguard requirements.
