MAINTENANCE WORKER

Ensures security of all Unaccompanied Housing residents is always maintained. Ensures Unaccompanied Housing residents' privacy is always maintained. The incumbent is responsible for a variety of semi-skilled and unskilled tasks involving standard methods related to the operation and maintenance of physical plant facilities . Performing work in at least two or more of the following trades requiring a higher level of skill than NA-4749-07 in the maintenance and repair of buildings and related fixtures or having significant emphasis in one of the higher level licensed trades : Electrical; Heating, Ventilation and Cooling; or Plumbing. Maintains work order log and follows up as required. Reports status to supervisor. Logs trouble calls with contractor as appropriate. Plumbing: Makes basic plumbing repairs to sinks, faucets, commodes, tanks, urinals, P -traps, shut-off valves on washing machines and water supply that can be accomplished by removing, cleaning, resealing, replacing defective
