About the role
At the full performance level of this position, you will: Lead regional administrative professionals team to develop, recommend, and implement administrative plans and procedures designed for maximum flexibility and effectiveness. Support the Regional Administrator and EPA Senior staff in the administration of Region 3 programs and priorities. Manage administrative activities of the Office of Regional Administrator, including handling travel arrangements, daily scheduling, meetings/conferences, and other duties as assigned. Monitor budget allocations and execution to ensure finding needs are met within established allocations. Evaluate, process, and make recommendations for effective organizational change. If you are hired at a grade level lower than the full performance level (i.e., highest promotion potential level), your duties will be less complex and you will have more supervisory oversight.
