About the role
You will: Oversee a water media program for assigned areas with federal, state, tribal, and local partners to ensure regulatory compliance, resolve complex and controversial water quality and restoration issues, and deliver high visibility projects. Provide programmatic and technical guidance for water quality and restoration programs for federal, state, tribal, and community partners to close gaps and ensure effective, evidence based plans that maximize water quality outcomes. Develop, review, and implementation of water-program standards, guidance, and regulations with federal, state, and tribal partners to ensure coherent, science-based policies that protect water resources and strengthen intergovernmental performance. Oversee contracts, assistance agreements, and interagency agreements as Contact Officer/Project Officer to ensure compliance with federal and agency policies, accurate commitments, and timely, trackable results.
