Assistant Chief Supply Chain Officer (ACSCO)

Duties include, but may not be limited to the following: Integration: Serves as a senior logistics management officer, integrating acquisitions and procurement, logistics and related support and services for the supply chain, EX/NX and capital equipment, inventory management, storage and distribution operations, total supply support, and in some cases transportation, mail room, and reproduction. Reviews complex and novel logistics and supply chain management issues and develops new methods, processes or techniques to address these. Reviews changes in agency objectives, key legislation and industry standards and determines appropriate changes in logistics policy and processes. Plans for and coordinates new logistics program requirements. Leads the coordination of logistics / supply chain efforts with other federal agencies. Develops plans and proposals for interagency projects and services. When issues arise with these agencies, serves as a technical expert in developing innovative solu
