About the role
You will provide senior leadership related to the construction product line and construction management efforts. You are responsible for assisting in the forecasting of workload into out years in preparation for resource planning requests for the branch; you will ensure data is kept up to date and accurate to ensure its usability in forecasting resource needs. You will provide construction engineering expertise on assigned projects managed within the ROICC/ FEAD office, particularly those of an unusual or complex nature. You will be responsible for enforcement of all technical and administrative provisions (which typically involve several engineering disciplines) related to the management of assigned construction contracts. You will review, recommend, and/or approve the NAVFAC position concerning contractor entitlement for change through interpretation of contract clauses and the technical requirements of plans and specifications.
