About the role
You will serve as a Rigger / Diver for dive team activities that encompass all aspects of rigging, Underwater Ship Husbandry (UWSH) inspection, assessment, repair and other related work. You will accomplish a variety of rigging, diving, dive craft operations, recompression chamber operations and Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) operations in support of availabilities and repairs that require underwater diving intervention. You will select proper rigging equipment such as hoisting and pulling gear for lifting, moving, and securing heavy equipment, large structural parts, and other heavy loads. You will estimate sizes, weights, and equipment capacities, and plan for clearance and safety factors. You will fabricate, install, and repair standing and running rigging and wire or fiber rope articles, such as slings, towing bridles, nets, rope ladders, and other ship and boat rigging and weight handling gear.
