About the role
The selectee will serve as a Fleet Management Specialist in the Office of Training (TNG), James J Rowley Training Center (RTC). Typical work assignments include: Plans, directs, and administers Vehicle Fleet Operations program, ensuring comprehensive lifecycle management of vehicles, including acquisition, leasing, maintenance, and disposal. Develops, updates, and enforces fleet management policies and standard operating procedures to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. Designs and prepares reports, dashboards, and presentations for management, providing comprehensive analyses of key performance indicators, cost trends, and operational metrics Oversees the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely delivery of vehicles and services. Monitors contractor performance through reviews, inspections, and evaluations to ensure the quality, timeliness, and reliability of services.
