Security Guard

Conduct internal and external patrols of the hospital, grounds, and high-risk areas to ensure safety and security. Verify identification, manage entry into restricted areas, and challenge or detain unauthorized individuals when necessary. Act as a first responder to alarms, disturbances, medical emergencies, suspicious activity, and potential threats—including active-shooter or violent situations. De-escalate conflicts, detain individuals when probable cause exists, preserve incident scenes, and prepare written reports for investigations. Provide directions, escorts, parcel checks, and support during high-traffic or special events, including VIP visits.
