Electronics Technician (Biomedical)

Perform repairs, overhaul, troubleshoot and testing of medical equipment and any peripheral devices. Ensure equipment is compliant with the most stringent standard, manufacturer’s literature, or regulatory guidance. Conduct preventive maintenance checks and services inspections of medical equipment. Install general medical equipment, to include complex medical and peripheral devices. Conduct testing to ensure operability, efficiency, and compliance with existing standards. Ensure that hardware and software are functioning properly and that operating standards are met. Review, evaluate, and fine tune components to achieve peak efficiency within the overall network. Document services and research maintenance/accountability data in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
