FOOD SERVICE SPECIALIST

Serves as the liaison and food service COR with responsibilities for evaluating food service provider performance and coordinating support while evaluating daily operation of the Food Service Activity. Researches, interprets, and applies Air Force instructions, pamphlets and manuals, directives, operating instructions, technical and trade publications, and accepted food management practices. Provides technical oversight and assists with surveillance over the full food service contract. Serves as COR for the $41M annual food service contract. Monitors contract expenditures and approves monthly contract payments, monitors the control and disposition of Government furnished assets, and posting of all required weekly, monthly and annual reports as required. Prepares, coordinates, and serves on the Base Menu Review Board and represents Food Service at other boards and meetings.
