About the role
You will serve as the key multilateral planning subject matter expert at USINDOPACOM headquarters. You will provide strategic appraisal, analysis, and recommendations to the Commander pertaining to requirements, objectives, OAIs, and opportunities related to theater multinational planning. You will provide clear written and oral presentations, and support development of talking points, decision papers, and information papers for use by FOGOs or SESs. You will work closely with country division planners, the Foreign Policy Advisor, country teams, and the interagency to provide continuously updated support materials (e.g. information papers, talking points, briefs) for multilateral events. You will lead Multilateral Working Groups (MLWGs) and supports FOGO-level MLWGs as needed to develop actionable plans or recommendations that translate strategic objectives, plans, and guidance into operational requirements.
