About the role
Perform the full range of work involved in the repair, overhaul, maintenance and servicing of heating, ventilation and air conditioning units and systems. Troubleshoot and repair equipment which specifications and technical manuals do not exist or have large gaps. Train inexperienced personnel by giving on-the-job instructions and assistance. Prepare instructional material and conduct instruction of operators. Serve as emergency (no heat) mechanic. Installs and repairs underground high- and low-pressure gas distribution lines. Operate a government vehicle that does not exceed the 1-ton weight range; operates a forklift.
