IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (OS/INFOSEC)

Plans, coordinates and executes the installation, configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of operating environments: including compilers, utilities, communication and systems management products, third-party systems, security packages, and software. Develops and implements systems diagnostic and maintenance tools to ensure the availability and functionality of systems required to support organizational objectives. Consults with applications developers to determine the effect on end user applications resulting from changes to the operating environment; e.g., new software or hardware installations. Conducts risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs Interprets and evaluates performance data and isolates potential sources of performance problems
