About the role
You will independently perform the full range of aircraft sheet metal mechanic duties, including the most complex repairs and fabrications on various aircraft types. You will assess damaged parts to determine the sequence of operations necessary for sheet metal repairs or replacements. You will remove fixed sheet metal and composite structures from aircraft and disassemble structural and non-structural metal and composite components. You will work from technical drawings, directives, manuals, and other written or verbal instructions to complete sheet metal work. You will comply with safety regulations, practices, and procedures. You will assist with training and mentoring other artisans at the same or lower level. You will accomplish other duties assigned.
